Putt n Funn is an FEC (Family
Entertainment Center) at Round Rock in Texas.
The latest addition to their high-quality facility is an outdoor Kart Track.
Having investigated the available options, the team at Putt-n-Funn decided that using the SuperSport FunTime system was the only practical solution incorporating automatic timing, result "ticket" printing and kart-control all from one software package.
The FunTime system links to the industry standard de-Haart speed control system and automatically controls the speed of karts on the track, slowing them to walking pace before the enter the pit lane, and only allowing "race-pace" when the kart is out on the track.
Operators also have the
ability of reducing the speed of all the karts on the track by touching just one
button, and this too, will bring on the yellow "caution" lights as seen in the
photo above.
Track Green and red lights are also automatically controlled by the FunTime system leaving circuit operators to concentrate on ensuring that riders are safely seated in their karts and to clear any on track "mishaps" without worrying about errant drivers!
