Xtreme Karting - Falkirk, Scotland
Indoor Kart Circuits around
the world always attempt to provide the best environment for their clients to
enjoy the experience of racing karts.
The team at Xtreme Karting have provided a superb facility combining the very best of "on-track" action along with a combination of a trackside spectator enclosure with a fully air-conditioned double-glazed lounge also right next to the track.
The lounge features comfortable seating, refreshment facilities and gives a superb view of the track action. To finish off the list, Xtreme have installed the SuperSport GRAFIX display system which provides an unparalleled level and quality of information to spectators.

The GRAFIX monitors are
attached to the ubiquitous SuperSport "Console" software running from the Race
Control building and are also duplicated in the spacious trackside spectator
enclosure.
The trackside enclosure gives access to the Lounge, Pit Lane area and could easily accommodate over 100 drivers waiting to race. The whole facility is spotlessly clean and inviting.
The
tracking and recording of all kart maintenance and repairs is carried out by the
industry-pioneering WinTime-WorkShop Software. This logs ALL work carried out to
every kart in the fleet as well as tracking the usage of each kart. The system
then informs mechanics when scheduled work becomes due. It can also keep full
track of all workshop stock and even re-order vital parts automatically from the
suppliers when stock levels drop too low!
The whole SuperSport system is "tied together" with a single-terminal WinTime reception software station. This allows full system control from the reception desk. It takes photographs of drivers and these are shown beside drivers' results on the GRAFIX monitors. The system also issues "ride cards" during Arrive-and-Drive sessions so that, once signed in, drivers are free to explore the facility and race at their convenience or as directed by the GRAFIX monitors.
Barrie
intends to extend this reception system to include the latest membership package
soon so that regular drivers will all be issued with photo-membership cards.
This will enable the Xtreme team to cut down on the number of briefings given
every day and to give special offers to members only therefore increasing
potential loyalty and income.
