Major upgrade for The Raceway
The track and facilities at The Raceway (London, UK) have long been regarded as amongst the very best in the world. SuperSport has been proud to supply The Raceway with all their circuit management and timing systems for over 10 years now.
The Raceway recently upgraded all of their systems to the very latest on offer from SuperSport.
WinTime-XP
is now the timing system of choice, which as well as carrying out all the
"usual" functions of timing and scoring for every type of race meeting and of
controlling any "Arrive-and-Drive" sessions on the track also has some very
advanced features built in.
For example, during Endurance
races, the system logs all Pit Stops for every team, showing the number of stops
and length of each stop. This information is presented to the teams in real time
during the racing on the WinTime GRAFIX display system and is also printed on
the comprehensive results sheets which are customised one for each team.
The system also now totally AUTOMATICALLY controls all "traffic lights" around the track including the chequered flag sign above the finish line.
The
Raceway was the first ever user of the
WinTime WorkShop package to monitor and control
all workshop activities and providing useful data for the circuit management
to streamline operations and reduce expenditure in the workshop. The system
also provides comprehensive reporting in the case of a "negligence claim"
(not something The Raceway has ever had to deal with).
The latest version (WorkShop Pro) also provides the facility with full stock control on all parts and items in the Workshop allowing The Raceway even better control in this area.
GRAFIX has been updated to
the latest version in the main spectator area now displayin
g
all of the participating drivers photographs alongside their race data on huge
monitors.
And WinTime Reception Pro is now running giving the circuit full diary booking capabilities along with event name entry, Arrive and Drive control, and of course, statistical information at the end of each working day. This system can expand to 99 terminals, so should be able to service even the most busy of circuits.
The
Raceway have also installed the Real-Time-Results service so anyone can monitor
race results at The Raceway at any time of the day anywhere in the world across
the internet.
